Pub Nights at the Village Hall
Our popular monthly pub nights take place on the last Friday of the month in the Village Hall. Doors open at 7pm and close around 9:30pm.
A full bar is available along with nibbles.
Pub night is always a good opportunity to drop-in for a pre or post-dinner drink and catch up with friends and neighbours. Children are very welcome.
Friday, 8th November, 7:30pm - Pandemonium Folk Band Music Night
An evening of music by Pandemonium will take place in West Challow village hall on Friday, 8th November, at 7.30pm (doors and bar open at 7pm) - tickets cost £10/adults and £5/children - and our popular raffle will also take place.
Pandemonium is a versatile music group based in Wantage who have been playing together for 27 years, and play a variety of traditional folk instruments, including melodeon, recorder, English concertina, bodhran (Irish hand drum), guitar, bass, violin, Irish banjo and mandolin. Their repertoire includes toe-tapping folk tunes from all over the British Isles, recitations, and poetry – serious and light-hearted. They also sing many popular songs, with plenty of opportunity for the audience to join in the choruses. Pandemonium’s emphasis is always on fun and informality and a great evening of entertainment can be guaranteed.
The village hall committee will be going round the village to sell tickets.
